Academic ExcellenceCurry College is committed to our students' safety and well-being. Sexual harassment, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking will not be tolerated on this campus or in this community.
Curry College strictly forbids sexual harassment/assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and all other forms of sexual misconduct. Sexual misconduct is defined by the College as any sexual contact or activity that occurs without the effective consent of every individual involved. It is the obligation of every person to obtain effective consent from other people prior to sexual contact. Consent cannot be given by minors, those who are incapacitated as a result of alcohol or other drug consumption, or those who are unconscious, unaware, or otherwise physically helpless.
If think you or someone you know has experienced sexual harassment/assault, intimate partner violence, or stalking, you can contact confidential resources on and off campus to discuss your options. Help and support is available to students who have experienced these incidents but are not sure they want to report it to the College.
This web space offers specialized content for sexual harassment/assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking. We know, however, that these behaviors often occur together. Because all of these behaviors may occur within one relationship, we encourage you to browse the website thoroughly and use whatever resources and information seem most appropriate to a particular situation.
While many words and phrases are used to describe those who experience sexual harassment/assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking, this website uses the phrase "victim-survivor" in an effort to reflect the many stages and identities of people who experience these crimes.
