At Curry College, diversity is central to excellence in education, not a separate goal. We are an inclusive community where embracing differences is essential to creating a safe and welcoming environment for exploration and learning, as well as personal and professional growth. Being a member of the Curry community means that your unique voice is a vital and valued part of all we do.
The Office of Diversity & Inclusion works to increase diversity representation among students, faculty and staff while ensuring that all members have an equal opportunity to participate in and contribute to the Curry community. We strive to create and maintain a community where differences are recognized and valued as essential elements to fostering a stimulating environment for exploration, learning and development.

Multicultural Student Union (MSU), Student Activities and The Office of Diversity & Inclusion plan the Night of Culture on National Diversity Day to showcase the many cultures on campus through education, cuisine and performances.
Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) and The Office of Diversity & Inclusion have co-sponsored ‘Rainbow' tabling in the Student Center during National Coming Out Week. Faculty, staff and students visited the table to color in a portion of a rainbow with positive and encouraging messages for members of the LGBTQ community who are out, coming out or struggling to do so.
The Committee for Social & Environmental Justice led efforts to host the second annual Celebrate Native Cultures Event featuring Annawon Weeden, Wampanoag Tribe Educator. This event allowed faculty, staff, students and guests the opportunity to witness and engage with Native American Cultures through drumming, dancing, and stories from the oral tradition of Native Peoples.
