Curry College is committed to providing state-of-the-art facilities to support its science programs.

The College recently renovated space in the Mayflower Annex to serve as the Forensic Science Lab. This lab consists of specialized equipment including digital forensic evidence exam stations for high definition review of evidence, a ductless fuming hood for fingerprint recovery, a forensic optical comparator for fingerprint, document, and counterfeit money comparisons, and a variety of digital microscopes. The lab also houses two crime scene rooms to demonstrate the physics of crimes including blood spatter patterns and allows students to actively collect evidence in staged crime scenes.

In addition, Curry College’s new Science and Integrated Learning Commons is currently under construction. Students in the Forensic Science program will utilize the brand new Microbiology, Organic/Inorganic Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry, Physics, and Research Labs, all as part of their undergraduate experience. Phase One of new Science and Integrated Learning Commons will open for the spring 2019 semester with the entire facility opening for the fall 2019 semester.
