Professor Jeannette DeJong, Coordinator of Foreign Language, studied in Paris where she received a diplôme de la littérature comtemporaine from the Sorbonne. In addition to teaching courses in French language and culture, she teaches First Year Inquiry courses on Happiness and The Lives of the Great and Not So Famous as well as First Year Transitions. Curry has recognized Professor DeJong for Excellence in Academic Advising. She currently serves on the Advising Council, the General Education Curriculum Committee and the Excellence in Teaching Committee. Her interests include reading, travel, and theatre. She has performed in many plays with The Milton Players Community Theatre. She has led five spring break student trips to Europe.
