Today's dynamic workplace and increasingly diverse workforce have created a need for professionals who can effectively manage a variety of complex human resources functions. The Human Resource Management Certificate takes a generalist approach and is designed to provide students with an understanding of the major functions of human resources including recruitment, selection, training, wage and salary administration, benefits, and legal obligations and regulations.
This program is open to students seeking a stand-alone certificate program, regardless of whether they already hold a bachelor's degree or not. Or, for those who wish to return to school to complete a bachelor's degree on a part-time basis, they may consider completing this certificate to augment their professional skills while working on degree requirements. The certificate credits may be applied toward a degree. Students who are not seeking a certificate may enroll in individual courses related to their particular needs.
